When it comes to the salary of a yoga teacher, it entirely depends on the experience, the level of training undergone by them, the kinds of classes they teach, and the geographic location. Reportedly, a yoga instructor in the United Arab Emirates normally earns around 17,700 AED per month, in the UK it is £24 net per hour, $31.14 per hour in the United States, and can vary depending on the geographic location you are planning to start teaching.

Before you start with your journey as a Yoga instructor, you should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Yoga and the practice levels. As there are many different styles of yoga, you should decide on the type of yoga practice that is best suited as per your personal preferences. Different Yoga styles include vinyasa, ashtanga, Bikram and Hatha. Choosing a yoga guru as your mentor and taking you to the entire yoga journey is imperative.

Post that you should decide on the registered yoga schools where you want to embark on your journey as a yoga instructor. The Yoga teacher training programs are provided at two different levels. The first level is a 200-hour certification program and the second one is a 500-hour certification program. Make sure the training programs are registered and affiliated.

The registered yoga teacher certification course is an internationally recognized credential that proves that you have met the minimum standards of yoga training established by the Yoga Alliance. For that, you will need to complete at least the 200-hour level registered yoga school training program. If you want to pursue a career in the fitness sector, you need to be trained and certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation which is known as “CPR.”
